“Ghislaine Maxwell details her connection to Elon Musk in a new interview from prison, revealing the two partied together on Epstein’s private island. She also comments on her experiences with Donald Trump.”
Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted child sex trafficker associated with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, has spoken out about her alleged connections to tech billionaire Elon Musk. In a new interview with the Department of Justice, Maxwell revealed that she met Musk in either 2010 or 2011 at a birthday party, where they spent several days together on an island, although she did not provide many specifics about their interactions.
Maxwell, who is currently serving her prison sentence at FCI Tallahassee following her conviction in 2021, spoke with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche over two days. The interview, which covered a range of topics including her high-profile relationships, provided a rare glimpse into Maxwell’s ties with powerful individuals.

Maxwell’s Account of Her Interaction with Musk
Maxwell recalled meeting Musk during a trip to a friend’s island, not long after Epstein’s infamous private island retreats. She stated, “We were — or a bunch of us, I don’t even remember how many we were, but not many of us. [We] went to another friend’s island… Epstein, he was not there… And we were there together for, I want to say, three or four days, something like that in my memory. And Mr. Musk was present for that.”
When asked whether she had met Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk, Maxwell denied knowing him, stating, “I know that he has a brother, and I don’t think I met him.”
Maxwell also spoke about whether she had any knowledge of Musk’s involvement with Epstein, saying, “I believe they did [know each other]. And the only reason I say that is not from my memory, but because I saw — I think I saw — my memory is that in discovery, they were communicating on email.” However, Maxwell was quick to clarify that she did not know the specifics of their relationship, saying, “I don’t — my — like I said, my memory is not — it’s not as good as I would like it to be.”
The Department of Justice has reached out to Musk for a comment but has not yet received a response.

Maxwell Reflects on Her Time with Donald Trump
During the interview, Maxwell was also asked about her interactions with former President Donald Trump. She was quick to defend him, saying she had never witnessed anything inappropriate involving the president. “The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects,” Maxwell stated.
Trump’s recent comments on the Epstein case have sparked controversy. When asked about the release of Epstein’s files, Trump suggested that some names in the files might be innocent and should not be linked to Epstein. He described the Epstein situation as a “Democrat hoax” but expressed support for the continued investigation, saying, “Innocent people shouldn’t be hurt.”
The Epstein Files and Calls for Transparency

The debate over the so-called Epstein files has intensified, with growing calls for transparency regarding the identities of individuals allegedly connected to Epstein’s criminal activities. The Trump administration has faced pressure to release the full set of FBI files related to the case, which may contain testimony and information from grand jury proceedings.
Though the Department of Justice had initially stated that no “client list” exists, there has been a shift in stance, with the DOJ now indicating that more files, including grand jury testimony, will be made available to the public.
As the investigation continues, the ongoing mystery surrounding Epstein’s connections to powerful individuals, including Maxwell’s testimony, remains a topic of public intrigue and concern.
