Trump Fires Back at Jimmy Kimmel as Their Public Feud Gets Even Hotter

A new chapter in the ongoing feud between Donald Trump and Jimmy Kimmel has erupted after Kimmel criticized the president on-air. Trump hit back on Truth Social, calling out ABC and labeling the comedian “no talent.” Here’s the full story in simple, easy-to-read words.

The long-running feud between former President Donald Trump and TV host Jimmy Kimmel is heating up again. The two have been trading public insults, and it doesn’t look like they will be getting along anytime soon.

The drama started in September when Kimmel made comments about the late Charlie Kirk and criticized how Trump reacted to the news. Kimmel said that Trump avoided answering questions about Kirk’s death and instead talked about renovations at the White House. His remarks caused major backlash and even led to Kimmel’s show being briefly suspended — a decision Trump celebrated online.

However, the suspension did not last long. After a strong response from viewers, ABC returned Kimmel’s show to the air. Instead of backing down, Kimmel continued joking about Trump, especially after Trump did not win the Nobel Peace Prize he believed he deserved.

Kimmel recently commented on a new situation involving Trump and a female reporter. Trump reportedly called the reporter “piggy” during a tense moment. Kimmel noted that Trump seems to “lose his mind” whenever questions about Jeffrey Epstein come up and joked that Trump’s comments wouldn’t even be acceptable in a workplace training video.

Trump quickly reacted on Truth Social. On November 20, he wrote:

“Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air? Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it? Also, totally biased coverage. Get the bum off the air!!!”

Despite Trump’s anger, it’s unlikely that ABC will suspend Kimmel again after the backlash from last time.

Trump has not personally commented on calling the reporter “piggy,” but a White House official did release a statement. They said the reporter was behaving “in an inappropriate and unprofessional way” toward others on the plane, adding: “If you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take it.”

The feud between Trump and Kimmel clearly isn’t going away anytime soon — and both sides continue to fire back whenever the other speaks out.
