She Thought the X-Ray Was “Too Dramatic” — Until the Results Came
Lexy told her 64,000 followers that she didn’t take the initial medical check-up seriously.
“I couldn’t stop laughing that they put me in a robe for my X-ray. I thought it was so dramatic,” she shared.
“A couple of days later, I was diagnosed with head & neck cancer.”

The news turned her world upside down.
A Healthy Lifestyle Didn’t Protect Her
Lexy explained that she has always lived a healthy, active lifestyle:
She has been an athlete her whole life
She works as a Pilates instructor
She teaches others how to stay healthy
That made the diagnosis even more shocking.
“There’s nothing I did wrong and nothing that could have prevented it. It’s just the luck of the draw,” she said.
Chemotherapy Begins — and She’s Worried About Her Hair

In a video, Lexy revealed she will begin chemotherapy soon. She gently touched her long, healthy hair and said:
“It’s the healthiest it’s ever been. So pretty. Let’s see how it survives.”
Her heartbreak and fear were clear, but so was her determination.
Her Fiancé Is By Her Side Through Every Moment
Lexy shared over 20 photos and videos documenting her journey with fiancé David Nyika, a New Zealand boxer.
Some photos showed the couple leaning over in grief, exhausted from stress and fear. But others showed small moments of humor and strength as they faced the diagnosis together.
Despite everything, they are choosing hope.
Their Future Plans Haven’t Changed
Lexy said she made David promise that cancer would not take over their lives.
They still plan to marry in 2026. One photo showed a note reading:
“I will beat cancer in 2026 and get married to Dave on X/X/2026.”
“I Will Fight” — But She Also Wants Privacy
Lexy ended her message with a powerful statement:
“This is something I will FIGHT.”
But she also asked for space during this difficult time.
“I am starting treatment and ask people to respect my privacy. This is all I’m willing to share at the moment.”
