In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian shared a shocking and somewhat controversial opinion about the relationship between her younger siblings, Khloé and Rob. During a confessional, Kourtney described the sibling dynamic as “a little incestual,” sparking immediate reactions from fans.
The ongoing Hulu series continues to offer glimpses into the personal lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family, with Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé regularly opening up about their relationships and experiences. However, Rob, the famously private member of the family, has only appeared sporadically on the show, with his most recent appearance taking place in the episode airing on October 30.
Earlier this year, Rob shared his reasons for staying out of the public eye during an appearance on Khloé’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. “I don’t wanna be filming and putting myself in a position where I’m not comfortable,” he explained. “I’m not comfortable in my skin, so why would I want to go be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in when that’s not what I want to do?”
Despite Rob’s desire for privacy, he reassured Khloé that there were no issues between him and his siblings, explaining, “It just has everything to do with myself.”
However, Kourtney offered a candid take on the different relationships each of the Kardashian sisters has with their brother. Referring to Rob and Khloé, Kourtney jokingly said, “Him and Khloé are a little incestual. Him and Kim are like the husband and wife that hate each other.”
When describing her relationship with Rob, Kourtney painted a much different picture, saying, “At one point, we would go out together, hold hands, just have so much fun together. I love having him around.” She described their connection as being “super close friends.”
Despite Rob’s preference to remain out of the spotlight, he has expressed his willingness to appear on the show when it feels natural. “I love filming if it’s positive and natural and I’m feeling good about myself,” he said. “I like being around my family so that stuff is good to me.”
Khloé has also expressed her admiration for her brother, calling him “the best dad” she knows in a 2023 episode of The Kardashians. “I’m so proud of him for that. And I know that he is feeling really good about himself and I’m happy for him,” she added.
Rob, now 38 years old, is the youngest of Kris and Robert Kardashian’s children, followed by Khloé, Kim, and Kourtney.
