After Jennifer Lopez claimed she’s never truly been loved, her first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, fired back with a scathing message, accusing the pop star of distorting their relationship’s reality.
Jennifer Lopez recently stirred the pot during an interview with Howard Stern, where she opened up about love and relationships. In her conversation, Lopez reflected on her past romantic experiences and shared some bold thoughts about her struggles with maintaining love in the public eye.
Lopez, who finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this year, admitted that fame has often complicated her ability to nurture relationships. “I wanted to share my life with someone,” she said. “I want someone to be there when I’m having my big, important moments on the red carpet, I want someone to be there when… we’re going to the store, whatever it is.”
Stern, probing deeper into her past relationships, asked if she had ever truly felt loved. Lopez’s response was striking: “No… What I learned, it’s not that I’m not lovable, it’s that they’re not capable… They don’t have it in them.”
She continued, explaining that while her ex-partners gave her everything they had to offer, she struggled with self-love during those times. Lopez’s comments were perceived by many as a candid revelation about the challenges of finding true love under the weight of fame and public scrutiny.
However, her remarks didn’t sit well with her first ex-husband, Ojani Noa. The 51-year-old former model, who was married to Lopez from 1997 to 1998, took to Instagram to voice his displeasure with her statements. In a heated message, Noa accused Lopez of distorting the truth about their brief marriage.
“Let me just say, stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card,” Noa wrote in an Instagram carousel post. “The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in your pants.”
Noa went on to point out that Lopez had been “loved” multiple times, having been married four times and engaged in several high-profile relationships. “You had good relationships… Me, for example,” he added.
In his post, Noa passionately defended his character, claiming that he was loyal and supportive throughout their marriage. “I’m an amazing, loving person, a great human being. Honest, faithful to you, never lied, never misbehaved, never cheated on you,” Noa wrote, asserting that he had been a good husband to Lopez.
He further claimed that he sacrificed his family and career to help Lopez pursue her early ambitions, but in the end, Lopez allegedly chose fame and fortune over their marriage. “Tell the truth for once,” Noa concluded. “Let the people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.”
As of now, Jennifer Lopez’s team has not responded to Noa’s accusations. Fans of the two stars are now left wondering if this public exchange will lead to further revelations about their past relationship.
