During her interview with Extra at the LA premiere of All’s Fair, Simpson shared her experience on the show, which features some intimate scenes, including a kiss with a man significantly older than her character. This prompted a question about her current preferences in real life.
Simpson humorously replied, “I have never made out with a man that much older than me. It wasn’t terrible.” When pressed about whether she now had a thing for older men, she laughed, saying, “I don’t know about that.” However, Simpson added, “I think I am into younger men at the moment. When you are newly separated, I feel like younger guys like the confidence of an older woman, I am discovering. I am having fun right now.”
Moving On: Simpson’s Separation from Eric Johnson
Earlier this year, in January, Simpson confirmed her split from her husband, Eric Johnson, with whom she shares three children: daughters Maxwell, 13, Birdie, 6, and son Ace, 12. The announcement came just before their 10th wedding anniversary, with Simpson noting they were taking time apart.
