The twins used their social media platform to rally support for their father, asking their millions of followers to help find a match for his life-saving bone marrow transplant. “If he gets a transplant, his cancer will go away quicker,” Ava told People in 2019, with Leah adding, “The more people that get tested, the better.”
Their plea was met with an outpouring of support. Though Kevin ultimately found a match with his brother, the twins’ followers were added to a national registry to help other patients in need.
