The poll results come alongside a renewed push from constitutional lawyers and advocacy groups, who claim Trump’s recent behavior provides at least 25 grounds for impeachment.

Among their concerns:

🚨 1. Use of Military Force in U.S. Cities

Critics point to Trump’s decision to deploy federal forces to cities like Washington, D.C., and Chicago to fight crime and disperse the homeless population—moves some have labeled as authoritarian.

Although Trump later clarified, saying, “We’re not going to war. We’re going to clean up our cities,” many remain alarmed by the language and approach.

🛑 2. Politicization of Federal Agencies

Trump has been accused of undermining the independence of the Department of Justice and the FBI, allegedly using them to target political rivals.

One example: federal prosecutor Erik Siebert reportedly resigned after pressure from Trump for refusing to prosecute Letitia James and James Comey—both of whom have clashed with Trump in the past.

📺 3. Threats Against the Media

Advocacy groups have also flagged Trump’s apparent efforts to silence media critics, including a threat to sue ABC affiliates airing Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show.

The controversy erupted after Kimmel referenced Trump’s reaction to the death of conservative figure Charlie Kirk. After the segment aired, Trump hinted at legal retaliation, reigniting concerns over First Amendment freedoms.
