Ariana Grande slammed Trump voters in a fiery Instagram post. The White House quickly fired back with a sharp response
Pop icon Ariana Grande is making headlines again—this time not for her music, but for her bold political stance.
On Sunday, September 28, the Wicked star shared a powerful message to her Instagram Story, criticizing supporters of former President Donald Trump and questioning the real-life impact of his leadership.
The message began:
“I want to check in with Trump voters. I have one very genuine question…”
It continued with a list of grievances, pointing out issues like rising living costs, struggles in the LGBTQ+ community, fears around free speech, and more.
“Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier?”

Grande’s post ended with a direct question for MAGA supporters:
“Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?”
💬 White House Offers a Sharp Reply
Her comments quickly caught the attention of the White House. In a statement to LADbible, spokesperson Kush Desai clapped back:
“Save your tears, Ariana, because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investments.”
Desai even referenced the singer’s song “Just Like Magic,” saying:
“He even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande’s concert-going fans.”
He finished the response with a jab:
“Get well soon, Ariana.”
🗳️ Ariana’s Long History of Speaking Out

This isn’t Ariana Grande’s first time getting involved in politics. Back in 2020, she publicly supported Bernie Sanders in the presidential race. In 2024, she showed support for Kamala Harris, Trump’s then-opponent.
Earlier this year, in June, Grande also reposted criticism from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who condemned Trump’s decision to launch a military strike in Iran.
Ocasio-Cortez wrote:
“The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers.”
She claimed it was clear grounds for impeachment. The Trump administration defended the strike, saying it was necessary for national security and in support of America’s allies in the Middle East, including Israel.
🕯️ What’s Next?
Neither Ariana Grande nor the White House has released a follow-up statement since the heated exchange. Fans and critics alike are divided—some praising Grande’s bravery, others calling for celebrities to stay out of politics.
As of now, the post has disappeared from her Instagram story, but the conversation it started continues across social media.
