Body Language Expert Spots ‘Tense’ Moment Between Melania Trump and Kate Middleton

A body language expert reveals the “tense” exchange between Melania Trump and Kate Middleton during Donald Trump’s UK state visit to Windsor Castle.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are currently in the UK for a two-day state visit. After landing at London’s Stansted Airport on September 16, the Trumps stayed at Winfield House before heading to Windsor Castle for an official welcome and state banquet.

As the couple arrived at Windsor Castle, they were greeted by Prince William and Kate Middleton, with King Charles and Queen Camilla also on hand to welcome them. While the meeting appeared formal and friendly, a body language expert has suggested that one moment between Melania and Kate hinted at hidden tension.

Celebrity psychic and body language expert Inbaal Honigman, speaking to UNILAD, analyzed photos of the women in conversation. In the image, Queen Camilla, Kate, and Melania were seen chatting together.

According to Honigman, Queen Camilla appeared the most comfortable. Her stance, with feet slightly apart, signaled confidence and ease. Kate and Melania, however, stood with their feet closer together, suggesting they were more reserved.

While all three women displayed calm, neutral smiles, their hand positions told a different story.

Kate held her hands in front of her, fingers spread widely — a sign she felt relaxed despite her protective posture.

Melania’s hand, however, was clenched tightly into a fist, which Honigman said revealed she may have been “tense” and feeling out of place during the exchange.

Breaking Protocol

The state visit has already drawn attention for another reason. During the welcome, Trump was filmed walking ahead of King Charles, chatting casually with a guard. In royal protocol, guests are expected to walk behind the monarch — especially members of the royal family, who follow the King in strict order of succession.

Despite the breach of etiquette, the Trumps are expected to continue their engagements in Windsor until Thursday evening, though security restrictions mean they will have no public-facing events in London.

This state visit is seen as an important step in maintaining diplomatic ties between the UK and the U.S., even as Trump’s presence continues to stir controversy.
