FBI uncovers chilling note and DNA evidence linking suspect Tyler Robinson to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Widow Erica vows to continue his legacy. Full story here.
The FBI has revealed chilling new details in the investigation into the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, including a disturbing note and key DNA evidence.
The Note That Shook Investigators
According to FBI Director Kash Patel, a note was discovered in the home of the suspect, Tyler Robinson, before the shooting.
Patel explained in an interview with Fox News:
“The note was written before the shooting, it was in the suspect’s home. We confirmed what the note said because of forensic evidence and aggressive FBI interviews.”
The handwritten message reportedly read:

“I have the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”
Although the note was destroyed, forensic teams managed to recover its contents.
DNA Links to the Suspect
Patel also confirmed that DNA evidence tied Robinson to the alleged murder weapon, a bolt-action hunting rifle, as well as other items found in the sniper’s nest on a university rooftop.
A towel wrapped around the firearm contained DNA matching Robinson.
A screwdriver discovered at the scene also tested positive for his DNA.
“These hits were positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel said.
The Tragic Event
Kirk, 31, was shot on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University during an event hosted by his organization, Turning Point USA.
Witnesses reported seeing a gunman on the rooftop of a nearby building. Just two days later, on September 12, the FBI confirmed the arrest of 22-year-old Robinson.

A Widow’s Vow
Kirk’s wife, Erica, has vowed to carry on his mission. She announced that she will continue leading his initiatives, including his campus events, radio program, and podcast.
“Our campus tour this fall will continue. There will be even more tours in the years to come,” she said.
“I will never let your legacy die. In a world of chaos and uncertainty, my husband’s voice will remain and ring out louder than ever.”
The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to be released soon.
