During the event, an audience member asked Kirk about the number of transgender Americans involved in mass shootings over the past decade.

Kirk responded: “Too many.” The crowd reacted loudly before the audience member clarified the number as five and followed up with:
“How many mass shooters have there been in America over the last 10 years?”
