An Oklahoma grandmother has been arrested after her 11-year-old granddaughter was allegedly forced to give birth without medical care. Prosecutors say the child’s stepfather fathered the baby.
Horrific Case in Oklahoma
Authorities in Oklahoma have arrested a grandmother after her 11-year-old granddaughter was allegedly forced to give birth at home without a doctor or medical care.
Michelle Justus, the girl’s maternal grandmother, now faces six counts of felony child neglect.
The girl delivered her baby on August 16, and Justus initially claimed that no one in the family knew she was pregnant.
Parents Already in Custody
The girl’s mother, Cherie Walker (33), and stepfather, Dustin Walker (34), were arrested last month.
Shocking DNA results later revealed that Dustin Walker was the biological father of the newborn, with a 99.9% match.

Both parents face serious charges:
Dustin Walker – sexual abuse of a child under 12 + six counts of child neglect.
Cherie Walker – enabling child sex abuse + six counts of child neglect.
They remain in custody without bond.
Grandmother Accused of Cover-Up
Prosecutors allege that grandmother Michelle Justus, who lived across the street and acted as a caretaker for six children in the home, knew about the pregnancy but failed to alert authorities.
Court documents claim the children lived in deplorable conditions and were denied proper medical care.

Despite this, Justus told local reporters:
“We did not know this was happening. None of us.”
She is now being held on a $75,000 bond.
Prosecutors: “Most Serious Case Seen”
Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson described the case as one of the worst she has ever prosecuted:
“I was horror-stricken to find out it’s an 11-year-old little girl who’s given birth. And that she had no medical care, and she had no one to be with her.”
All six children in the household have since been removed by child protective services.
