Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of music legend Elvis Presley, passed away on January 12, 2023, at just 54 years old after suffering a cardiac arrest. Her sudden death shocked the world, leaving her family and fans devastated.

Her mother, Priscilla Presley, announced the heartbreaking news, calling Lisa Marie “the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known.” But what followed was not just grief—it was controversy, lawsuits, and shocking allegations.

The Legal Storm After Lisa’s Death

Priscilla Presley, now 80, is facing a $50 million lawsuit from her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko. The pair allege that Priscilla made the decision to remove Lisa Marie from life support too quickly, supposedly to gain control over her daughter’s trust and the Graceland estate that Elvis left behind.

Priscilla’s lawyers strongly deny these accusations, calling them “shameful, salacious, and completely meritless.” They argue that the claims are nothing more than attempts to smear a grieving mother’s reputation.

Unbearable Final Moments

Alleged excerpts from Priscilla’s upcoming memoir, Softly As I Leave You: Life After Elvis, shed light on her final hours with Lisa Marie.

She recalled racing to the hospital after her daughter went into cardiac arrest. Doctors managed to restart Lisa Marie’s heart, but warned there was no guarantee it would keep beating.

According to the alleged pages, Lisa Marie showed little to no brain activity. Priscilla wrote that she asked doctors about the quality of life her daughter would have if kept on machines, to which the doctor responded: “No quality of life at all.”

Priscilla then made the agonizing decision to let her daughter go, recalling: “Take her off the machine, Doctor.”

She described the moment as “unbearable,” saying she collapsed in grief after giving the order.

Kruse and Fialko allege Priscilla violated Lisa Marie’s healthcare directive and claim she acted out of financial motives, especially since Lisa was reportedly planning to remove her mother as trustee. They also claim Priscilla appeared at Lisa’s home after her passing, allegedly declaring: “I’m the queen. I’m in charge of Graceland.”

Priscilla’s legal team, however, has fiercely denied these accusations, mocking the claims as outlandish conspiracy theories. They argue that Kruse herself has a history of financial exploitation and is attempting to manipulate public opinion.
