Orlando Bloom breaks his silence on his split from Katy Perry, discussing life changes, co-parenting their daughter Daisy, and maintaining a positive relationship post-breakup.

Following his split from Katy Perry in June 2025, Orlando Bloom has opened up about the personal changes he’s experienced and the positive relationship he continues to have with his ex-fiancée. Speaking in an interview on Today with Craig Melvin on September 5, Bloom addressed his life post-breakup, focusing on his role as a father and the continued love and respect between him and Perry.

Bloom and Perry’s relationship had long been a fixture in the public eye, beginning with their meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016. After a whirlwind romance, the couple got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020. However, in June 2025, the pair decided to go their separate ways, though they’ve remained committed to co-parenting their daughter.

A Positive Co-Parenting Relationship

In the interview, Bloom spoke warmly about his relationship with Perry and their shared focus on raising their daughter together. “We have the most beautiful daughter,” Bloom said. “You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it. And we’re great. We’re going to be great. Nothing but love.”

Bloom’s comments reflect this sentiment, as he reassured fans that their focus remains on providing love and stability for Daisy. A joint statement from both of their representatives also highlighted their commitment to co-parenting, saying, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
