Machine Gun Kelly says he might be part alien after his mom admitted she once felt “abducted.” The star also revealed why he turned down a major vampire-horror movie role.
Pop-punk star Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) has made an eyebrow-raising claim about his origins — suggesting he could be part alien after his mother admitted she once believed she was abducted.
The Shocking Admission
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the 35-year-old musician (real name Colson Baker) was praised by Cohen for his youthful looks. That led MGK into a bizarre reflection about his health and family history.
“It’s a weird thing, dude. I don’t know if my age… I don’t know if it exists,” MGK said. “Like my skin, if it rips open, it heals really quick. There’s just things where I’m starting to be like, ‘Who’s my dad?’”
Though official records say his father was James Colson Baker, MGK hinted he could have extraterrestrial DNA.
When asked directly if he thought he might be from another planet, MGK explained:

“Yeah, I’ve asked my mom, ‘Was there any period of time you went missing, like off the Earth? Was there ever like a tall slender creature?’ She told me she felt like she got abducted at one point.”
Fans React Online
The bizarre revelation quickly spread across social media, leaving fans both amused and confused.
One joked:
“The next time someone asks me my age, I’m just gonna say I don’t know — my mama may or may not have had an affair with an extraterrestrial being.”
Another quipped:
“He doesn’t have a birth certificate? That would help.”
Movie Career Twist

While his alien theory made headlines, MGK also spoke about a missed Hollywood role. He revealed he turned down an audition for the vampire-horror film Sinners because he refused to recite a racial slur during the casting process.
The movie, released in April, earned $366 million at the global box office. MGK explained:
“They had me set up to do the audition… but I wouldn’t say the n-word. I have a lot of aspirations to be in movies, it just hasn’t panned out that way. It’ll align.”
Despite that, MGK already has several acting credits, including roles in Netflix’s Bird Box (2018), The King of Staten Island (2020), and Project Power (2020) alongside Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Alien or Not, MGK Keeps Fans Guessing
Whether or not Machine Gun Kelly has otherworldly roots, his mix of wild confessions, bold music, and acting gigs keeps him firmly in the spotlight — Earthly or otherwise.
