Elon Musk’s name has surfaced in the latest batch of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate files, raising eyebrows and prompting further scrutiny of the disgraced financier’s connections with some of the world’s most powerful figures.
The newly released documents suggest that Epstein maintained ties with influential figures, including former President Donald Trump’s advisor and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk. While Musk’s name appears in the documents, there is no suggestion that he is accused of any wrongdoing.
A spokesperson for the Oversight Democrats, Sara Guerrero, commented on the findings, stating: “It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”
The files, which were handed to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and made public on September 26 by the committee’s Democratic members, include a copy of Epstein’s travel itinerary. The documents suggest Musk was scheduled for a trip to Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands on December 6, 2014. Next to the entry was a simple note: “is this still happening?”
At the time, Epstein was still the owner of the notorious island, which has since been at the center of numerous investigations related to Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking activities.
High-Profile Names on Epstein’s Calendar
The newly published documents also shed light on other high-profile figures who were connected to Epstein, including tech mogul Peter Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal. According to the itinerary, Epstein had a planned lunch with Thiel on November 27, 2017. Additionally, the documents reveal a scheduled breakfast with former Trump strategist Steve Bannon on February 16, 2019, just months before Epstein’s arrest on charges of sex trafficking minors.
Although Musk’s involvement is not fully detailed in the documents, the appearance of his name alongside other prominent individuals continues to raise questions about the extent of Epstein’s influence and connections to the powerful elite.
