During his state visit to the UK, Donald Trump had a moment with Princess Kate Middleton that quickly caught attention.

On September 17, the former U.S. president and First Lady Melania Trump were welcomed by the Prince and Princess of Wales in Windsor. As he stepped off his helicopter, Trump greeted the royal couple warmly and appeared to tell Kate:

Later that evening, Trump and Melania attended a state banquet at Windsor Castle hosted by the royal family. Around 160 guests joined, including Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, and OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman.

During his speech, Trump doubled down on his admiration for Kate, describing her as “radiant and so healthy and so beautiful.”

The former president also emphasized the strong ties between the United States and the United Kingdom, saying:

The UK trip has been packed for Trump. Before leaving, he met Prime Minister Starmer at Chequers Court to sign a technology prosperity deal aimed at boosting Britain’s AI industry with U.S. investment. He also reviewed documents from the Churchill archives and met top executives from Microsoft, GSK, and Rolls-Royce.

Despite his diplomatic schedule, Trump also took time to post on Truth Social, applauding ABC’s decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel’s show over remarks about Charlie Kirk. He urged NBC to take similar action against other late-night hosts like Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers.
