Donald Trump’s two words to Melania after landing in the UK have been revealed by a lip reader. The exchange happened at the top of Air Force One’s stairs.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have officially landed in the UK for their second state visit. The couple traveled to Windsor Castle, where they are set to spend time with King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
But as the Trumps disembarked Air Force One, a lip reader revealed a surprising and somewhat concerning two-word message Donald shared with Melania.
A Royal Invitation Amid Tension
The state visit was confirmed earlier this year after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer delivered a personal invitation from King Charles. While the goal is to strengthen ties between the U.S. and the UK, the announcement was met with controversy.
Protests erupted outside Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening, with demonstrators voicing anger over the royal family’s decision to host Trump. Four arrests were made after images of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto the castle walls.
Lip Reader Reveals Trump’s Words to Melania
Upon arrival, Trump and Melania were greeted by Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, U.S. Ambassador Warren Stephens, and Viscount Hood, Lord-in-Waiting to the King.
But before the official welcome, Trump was caught on camera exchanging quick words with Melania at the top of the plane’s stairs. According to a lip reader quoted by the Express, Trump first remarked on the chilly weather:
“Ooh, it’s cold. I’m glad we’re wearing our coats.”
Moments later, he turned to Melania with a short but cautious warning:
“Ooh, careful.”
The remark referred to the wet and slippery stairs leading down from the aircraft.
A Day With the Royal Family
On Wednesday, the Trumps will receive a formal royal salute, fired simultaneously from Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. They will also join the Royal Family in a carriage procession through the Windsor estate, followed by private engagements.
Interestingly, despite being in the UK, the couple has no formal schedule in London itself.
As Donald and Melania continue their state visit, opinions remain divided both in the U.S. and abroad.
